Our Expert-led Services for Reading Residents

Board and Train

In this six week program, your dog is exposed to the real world. Led by our owner, Nick Morales, a passionate trainer and scholar of canine psychology, your dog will learn the core fundamentals of dog training: respect, structure, and connection. This will be taught through lead work, basic and advanced obedience sessions, play, and socialization. By the end of four weeks, most dogs are able to achieve off-lead reliability, the ability to listen to commands even when off-leash.

Lead Work

Does your dog act differently when it’s on a leash? Chances are, it might have leash aggression. Leash aggression occurs when your dog engages in aggressive or defensive behavior while on a leash. Think of it as when your dog lunges at a squirrel, or even another dog while out on a walk. To prevent this behavior, our lead work training will teach your dog how to remain calm when on a leash. By the end of the training, your dog will be confident enough to remain calm even off leash!

Private Day Train

With this training, we’ll take your dog off your hands for the day. Led by our owner, Nick, your dog will join a “pack” for the afternoon, where it will learn obedience, lead work, and social skills. Before the day ends, Nick will schedule a 30-minute consultation with you to review your dog’s progress.

Behavior Modification

Our behavior modification training is designed to cater to every dog’s needs. Our focus includes:

  • Aggression toward humans and dogs

  • Separation anxiety / anxiety

  • House manners

  • Counter surfing,

  • Predatory behavior ( chasing small animals / livestock/ bicycles ,skate boards),

  • Resourcing guarding

  •  Nuisance barking

  • Lack of confidence

  • Environmental sensitivity

Obedience Training

Need your dog to sit, stay, and kneel? Our obedience training can help! This service offers basic (including commands, door manners, and crate training) and advanced (off-leash obedience, external motivator distraction tests) training, depending on your dog’s needs.
