Board and Train

Our comprehensive Board and Train program is the cornerstone of Equilibrium Canine's offerings. Your dog will live with Nick and his pack for 4-6 weeks, learning essential skills such as:

• Lead Work: Teaching your dog to understand and respond to the lead.

• Off-Leash Obedience: Ensuring your dog can reliably follow commands without a lead.

• Socialization: Helping your dog interact positively with other dogs and humans.

• Treadmill Training: Building endurance and discipline.

• Navigating the World Calmly: Training your dog to stay calm and connected under various distractions.

The program focuses on life skills, calmness, and exposure to the world, not just flashy obedience commands. Most dogs achieve complete off-lead reliability in 4 weeks. Owners receive ongoing training support and lifetime access to boarding after completing any Board and Train program. This comprehensive approach ensures your dog is well-rounded and well-behaved in any situation.

Lead Work

Build a deep connection with your dog through practical lead work. There are no gimmicks—just you, your dog, and the lead. This training focuses on understanding and proper handling. Lead work conditions the dog to physical pressure, fostering neutrality and connection.

Lead Work Sessions | $50 per person

We hold weekly group meetings to improve lead handling, advance understanding, and promote socialization and community building. These sessions also help build a community of dedicated dog handlers, encouraging ongoing improvement and support among participants. Our focus is teaching the dog to find lightness and neutrality while on the lead, enhancing communication and connection with your pet.

Private Day Train

For $300, your dog spends the day with Nick and his pack, learning obedience, lead work, and new behaviors. This includes a 30-minute session with Nick before your dog returns home. The program is designed for busy pet owners needing professional daily training. Subject to availability, this intensive day-long training ensures your dog receives focused attention and advanced learning opportunities.

Behavior Modification

Our behavior modification programs are tailored to each dog's specific needs. We prioritize the dog's well-being before addressing the owner's goals. Depending on the case, solutions may involve private sessions or a board-and-train program. This program focuses on changing how owners live and interact with their dogs daily to achieve long-term behavior changes. Our approach is thorough, addressing the root causes of behavioral issues and providing practical solutions that fit into your daily routine.

Obedience Training

Our obedience training programs cover the following:

• Basic Obedience on Lead: Teaching essential commands and house manners.

• Advanced Off-Lead Obedience (E-collar training): Ensuring reliability under distractions and competing motivators.

These programs ensure your dog learns essential commands and behaviors, enhancing their ability to navigate everyday life with confidence and obedience. We focus on practical skills that make daily interactions smoother and more enjoyable for you and your dog.

Pack Day

Offered twice a week, Pack Day includes:

• Lead Work: Ensuring your dog is comfortable and responsive on the lead.

• Structured Daycare: Providing a balanced mix of play and discipline.

• Socialization: Helping your dog interact positively with other dogs.

Pricing: $60-$70 per day

Each dog will work on lead, place work, and long-line training until fully integrated off-lead with the pack. This service is perfect for dogs needing additional socialization and structured playtime. Our Pack Day program is designed to provide dogs with the physical and mental stimulation they need to thrive.

New Puppy Program

For $750, this program includes five consecutive sessions at our facility. It covers all essential aspects of raising a new puppy, such as:

• Housebreaking: Teaching your puppy where and when to go.

• Structure and Boundaries: Setting clear rules and expectations.

• Essential Lead Work: Introducing your puppy to the lead.

• Basic Obedience: Teaching foundational commands.

• Proper Play: Encouraging healthy play behaviors.

• Socialization: Ensuring your puppy is well-adjusted and friendly.

This program provides new puppy owners with the tools and knowledge to ensure their puppy's successful integration into the family. We focus on creating a solid foundation for a lifetime of good behavior and happiness.

Group Classes

Available for pack members and current clients only. Our group classes include:

• Lead Work: Improving your dog's lead-handling skills.

• Obedience: Reinforcing essential commands.

• E-collar Training: Advanced off-lead reliability.

These classes consist of 4 consecutive weekly sessions with homework provided each week. They are designed to help dogs and their owners continually improve their skills and bond. Group classes offer a supportive environment for dogs and owners to learn and grow together.

Boarding

Boarding is available exclusively for pack members and Board and Train alums. Contact Nick for availability. Our boarding services ensure your dog is well cared for in a familiar and trusted environment. We provide a safe and nurturing space where your dog can stay when you are away, ensuring continuity in their training and comfort.
